Ricardo N. Gonzalez

A Foundation in Service

Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Gonzalez was a teacher. This taught him how to explain difficult things in a simple, clear way. He uses that skill every day to help clients understand their rights and their legal options.

After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center in 1984, he opened his own law office. His goal was to help people in his community with their most serious legal problems.

For the past 40+ years, Mr. Gonzalez has focused his work on criminal defense. This has given him deep knowledge of the Texas criminal justice system. He understands how prosecutors think and knows how to build a strong defense. This deep experience in fighting tough cases is the foundation of our entire firm.

Connected to the Houston Community

Mr. Gonzalez lives in Houston with his wife, a retired schoolteacher. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, and the Harris County Criminal Lawyer’s Association. He also volunteers with local charities. He understands our community because he is a part of it.
